The golden hour before sunset is the most beautiful time for a session, add to that some wide open space and I’m in love! This family completely rocked it. They are all super gorgeous and fun. Was a pleasure!

I love when babies are calm and bright eyed just after feeding. Sometimes it can take a little while to fall asleep, and I don’t mind when they are so sweet like this! As soon as I took this one, I knew immediately it would be one of my favorites. I love how content and adorable he looks here. He was a dream to photograph!

I had a ridiculous amount of proofs from this session (mom and dad – hope you are not too overwhelmed!!), but how could I not?? This little one is beyond adorable. There is something about this age, they have the most kissable cheeks.

If you haven’t already, book your sitting up session now, it is my most favorite age to capture!!

Traveling and staying anywhere with 2 young children is exhausting. Settling in the first few days were rough, but so worth it. Everyone had such a great time! TJ was a champ and completely covered himself in sand every day, complete with eating handfuls with his goldfish beach snack. By the end of the week, Kayla was jumping waves holding our hands. We had the most gorgeous weather and my new ipad was my hero for keeping Kayla so entertained on the downtime.

Home sweet home

It’s nice to be home! We had a really wonderful, exhausting vacation but it really is nice to be home in our own beds. I have lots of pictures to share, but first I’m behind in sharing some adorable newborn goodness.

Miss C was a dream, slept and cuddled the entire time.

Fall Fall

Just a scheduling note that the fall is the busiest time and is booking quickly. I have VERY limited openings for September, esp newborns. August and October still have a few dates available. I am still undecided on doing a day of mini sessions. If I do, it will be a flat fee to include the CD. If you would like to send me an email and butter me up, I may consider it lol. If I get enough, the date will be Oct 23 (only returning clients can book a mini).

I am going to be on vacation from July 24-Aug 3. I will be available on email to book sessions and answer questions but will not be placing orders or editing during this time.

There is something so beautiful, so natural about an expecting mother. Something different about the look in their eyes and flush to their cheeks. Capturing this family gave me some serious thoughts on doing it again!!

If you ask me what age is best for a newborn session, 5 weeks would not be my answer lol but we were anxious to capture this lil guy before anymore time went by. It is always so amazing how quickly and how much newborns change. D did not have any plans to fall asleep for me but he was still adorable to capture. I really look forward to capturing him again on his beautiful property as he grows!

If you follow my blog, you’ve noticed that Christie and I swap sessions and are good friends. I always love seeing her girls! It’s hard always being behind the camera so I was thrilled when Christie wanted to be captured WITH her beautiful girls. Sabrina warmed right up, she is such a great age, i just love her! I love that Christie refers to T at times as ‘blondie’ and ‘butterfingers’ hahaha she has so much personality and is ridiculously adorable.
