Fall Fall

July 20, 2010

Just a scheduling note that the fall is the busiest time and is booking quickly.  I have VERY limited openings for September, esp newborns.  August and October still have a few dates available.  I am still undecided on doing a day of mini sessions.  If I do, it will be a flat fee to include the CD.  If you would like to send me an email and butter me up, I may consider it lol.  If I get enough, the date will be Oct 23 (only returning clients can book a mini).

I am going to be on vacation from July 24-Aug 3.  I will be available on email to book sessions and answer questions but will not be placing orders or editing during this time.

Will share more later this week from this beauty, but this one is my favorite:

Sweet Baby Erin

March 6, 2010

I couldn’t decide what images to share, so I decided I would share a slideshow here for the first time.  Baby Erin is the closest I have to a niece :)  Her mom and I went to college together and I was her ‘big sister’ in our sorority.  I was so excited to meet and capture the newest addition to her family.  She is just precious in every way…

Do you like the new look?  I’m thrilled with my new logo and how it has incoporated into the rest of my brand.  I am working on new designs for my business cards, cds and other items.  Well, ok not me, but my fabulous designer.

I’ve also announced my spring mini sessions for April 24 in Montclair and May 8 in Holmdel.  Please contact me if you are interested.

Stay tuned this month – I have 5 brand new little ones scheduled this month.

For now – here is one of my (quickly) growing boy:

Schedule Update

January 21, 2010

Before we know it, the warmer weather will be upon us!  During the colder months, most of my sessions are with newborns and younger children.  It is so important if you really want to book a newborn session with me that you book in advance.  I have very few openings left for the rest of January, Feburary and early March.  I have several clients expecting at the end of March.  I only have ONE opening in April for either a regular session the last weekend, or a newborn due mid/late April.

As Spring rolls around, May and June are going to fill up fast so please book in advance, I really hate to turn anyone away, especially expecting clients.  I do plan to schedule mini sessions sometime in May, date and packages have not yet been decided, but will be silmilar to last years.  If you are certain you would like a slot, please let me know, I will start a waiting list since these sessions are limited.

I hope everyone is enjoying the new year, time really has been going too fast for me.  My daughter turns 3.5 in a few short weeks and I just can’t believe it!

Busy Busy!

January 5, 2009

Ok I’m going to try to pack a lot into this post :)

I have to admit, My very very cute but active 2.5 year old and being over 20 weeks pregnant is wearing me down just a little!  So I have not been keeping up with my blog as I should but with the holidays over I am able to get back into the swing of things!

In May, we are going to be welcoming a BOY to our family!!!  I kind of had a feeling since this pregnancy was the opposite of my first, but still getting used to the idea of a lil boy, we’re very excited.

A snapshot of my family Christmas Eve and one of Kayla and the tree.  Almost 3 years in this house and we still have those disposable window shades! LOL I am happy to say I finally ordered drapes and hardware woohoo!  We hosted our first ever holiday – it was really nice, used my fine china for the first time.  Being surrounded by family is the best part of Christmas.  My dad was in my heart, in all of our hearts and his presence was really missed.

My Dad

February 20, 2008

If you’ve ever read the About Me section of my website, you know that my dad is my inspiration. Yesterday was 4 months since he passed. It’s still lonely at times. I do know that he is with me… all the time, on all my shoots and I can feel how proud he is that I am doing something that I love.

I take tons of pictures – I always have! I have a thousand pictures of Kayla with each of the grandmothers, but so few with my dad. It’s because he never wanted to be selfish – he didn’t want to intrude, he lived 2 miles from me so he stopped by all the time, at least once a week. It’s ironic he was afraid that Kayla would forget him if she didn’t see him all the time. He never stopped by just to hold her, he simply wanted to see her. She made him very happy. If anything, I wish I had more pictures of them. I don’t need more memories, I have so many of those.

So it got me thinking, I have never done a grandparent shoot. So if any grandparents are reading this and would like a free mini session, be the first to e-mail me! Usually a shoot is focused primarily on the child – usually at least 3/4 of the pictures of the child alone. So a mini shoot would simply focus on the 2 or 3 of you and not the child alone. (Travel restrictions still apply – see my website).

And lastly – my dad and daugther
